New this season. This old established, 1,200 acre estate over undulating and partly wooded countryside in North Essex, not far from Halstead, has long been "on our books" for formal driven days. However, with a new game keeper, it is now offering a limited number of rough, or walked up days for parties of up to 6 guns. The guns will be taken out by the keeper or an assistant and gun's dogs will be welcome There will be an allowance per team of 30 birds and the cost per gun for the day will be £130 per gun. Larger teams will be considered for mini driven, or walk stand days. Lunch can be arranged at extra cost.

This large, private estate in the celebrated shooting area of Southacre has for sale a number of walked up or mini driven days for teams of from 4 to 10 guns and offers excellent sport among woodlands, along lake shores, and over undulating arable and grass land, over some 2,500 acres. Going out with the keeper and pickers up, the cost per gun is a very reasonable £130 for the day which includes a game bird allowance of 10 birds per gun and a light lunch, either in the field or the game keeper's lodge.
